Terms Of Use

Please read carefully before commencement of bookings.
1. The term 'client' meaning the customer. The term 'work contract' meaning 'work agreement'.
2. The agency being 'Vanity Modelling ltd’ will provide to the best of its ability the appropriate staff for the job description where not chosen by the client. Clients will be asked precise details.
3. All contracts to be invoiced and subject to V.A.T.
4. All monies to be paid direct to VANITY MODELS and not to employees of same.
5. All arrangements and communications to be discussed with the agency. Not employees, to avoid confusion.
6. All invoices payment is required within 14 days of date of invoice.

Booking Hours:
Full Day = 8 hours
Half Day = 4 hours
Days or weeks negotiable. Overtime applies outside of 0900 – 1800
Overtime rates apply before 9am, after 6pm and on all bookings over 8 hours.
Work on Saturdays and between 1800 hours and 2400 hours on normal working days is at one and a half times the normal rate.

A special rate is negotiated for night work between 2400 hours and 0900 hours.

Bank Holidays is at double the normal rate

Additional Fees/Copyright:
To be agreed prior to booking.
Copyright is applicable on all production and reproduction of material used partly or wholly, whether photographic, video, graphic art or other in association with vanity models or its staff. All will be subject to an additional fee.

Material being used for more than one company or Sub-contract Company within a company - copyright will apply per company per invoice.
It is the client’s responsibility when usage time is spent to inform the agency if further usage is required.

Cancellation Policy:
In the event of a cancellation - less than 48 hours notice the client will pay 50% of the invoice fee. Over 48 hours notice the client will pay 25% of the invoice fee or £50.00 whichever is the greater.

General:

Fashion shows

Catwalk bookings give the right to make use of a model's services on the catwalk for the specified show and the right to allow photographers to be present to take photographs and videos of the show on the basis that all such material (or reproductions etc. As set out in 8b above) is for reporting purposes only. The client is responsible for ensuring that all photographers present are aware of this condition and abide by it. If any other usage is required that must be negotiated at the time of the booking.


Videos
all fees will be negotiated individually. Normally there will be a fee for the shoot plus a buyout. If not booking direct, the client (usually the record company) will be invoiced as the ultimate client.
Test and experimental photography
A photographer is not entitled to use test and / or experimental photographs or test commercials for commercial purposes unless specific arrangements have been made before the photographic session.


Health and safety
It is the clients' responsibility to have adequate cover for insurance purposes with regard to health and safety and public liability. The client is responsible for the model whilst in their care. The clients should also cover themselves in the event that a model does not attend due to ill health etc. The agency will do their up most to find a suitable replacement if possible.

Clients are responsible for models meals on bookings.
